RealTours

The system
Property content is usually a listing with a voiceover. I wanted something with an editorial spine: a repeatable episodic format that could profile 20 BC communities at broadcast quality and hold that standard across two seasons.
As executive producer and creator I defined the format, the commissioning standard and the production rules before a frame was shot. Each episode had to work as entertainment first and as a brand asset second.
It was built for multi-platform distribution from the outset, so one production could serve social, web and partner channels without being recut into something weaker.

Results
RealTours reached an audience of 14 million views across two seasons and 20 BC communities.
The number held because the format was a system rather than a run of one-offs. Episodes stayed consistent as the team grew, and the structure carried brand partnerships without diluting the editorial, which is what made a second season possible.
